The Austrian Living Lab will focus on Agroforestry and Water & Erosion Management. Participants will explore how trees and shrubs can be integrated into productive agricultural systems and how farms can improve water infiltration, retention and resilience to drought, erosion and heavy rainfall. Through field-based activities, participants will examine site conditions, agroforestry design, water flows and practical measures for creating more resilient agricultural landscapes.

The Norwegian Living Lab will focus on Zero Emission Farming and Sustainable Grazing. Participants will explore how farms can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen carbon storage and improve their overall climate performance. They will also examine how grazing management can support soil fertility, biodiversity, animal welfare and climate adaptation. Field activities will connect farm-level climate analysis with practical grazing planning, including pasture management, rest periods, livestock movement, water access and monitoring indicators.
